Act Three Scene One Roll 29-A + 61-B
I read the news today, oh boy! |
Monday morning, January 6th 1969, on the set at Twickenham Film Studios of new Beatles project. The prior week had ended on a high note, with everyone
appearing to be in good spirits. They
had mastered one song (I’ve Got a
Feeling), and made good progress on five others.
Week two begins. Fasten your seat-belt; It's going to be one bumpy ride.
- Don’t Let Me Down
- Two of Us
- One After 909
- All Things Must Pass
- Maxwell’s Silver Hammer
The band has surfaced several other new songs:
- Dig a Pony
- On the Road to Marrakesh
- Oh! Darling
- Let it Be
- The Long and Winding Road
- Let it Down
The first Beatle to arrive is Paul.
He, Glyn and
Michael converse
on various topics; the B-Cam unit captures the first
conversations. Paul solo performs the first song of the day for the crew, as they wait for the other three Beatles to arrive.
Week two begins. Fasten your seat-belt; It's going to be one bumpy ride.
